These cute crumpled paper Christmas trees are just perfect for those tiny fingers! Tissue paper makes for an amazing sensory craft. Crumpled tissue paper Christmas tree craft is super and great for helping kids with fine motor skills too. Tearing and scrunching the tissue paper is a pure OT activity which strengthens the fine muscles of those little fingers!
I used green tissue paper and pom poms for this Christmas tree fine motor craft. Start drawing triangle on a paper with help of a scale. Next, start tearing the tissue paper into small pieces of roughly equal size. Once you get enough pieces of green tissue paper, begin to crumple them into tiny round balls. Spread the glue inside the triangle and keep sticking those tiny tissue balls on to it to cover the entire tree.
To decorate, I used pom poms, stick them randomly over the Christmas tree. Complete it by adding a brown construction paper trunk! Tada…. here is your cute festive craft all set to adorn the walls of your classroom1
