Marble Painted Christmas tree Process art
You’ve heard of marble painting? Here is an awesome way to make marbling Christmas-themed with bells ! Start with a plain piece of white paper. Fold it in half and cut out your Christmas tree design. Then tape your design to the bottom of a plastic container and grab a jingle bell or two. Add a small amount of green paint to the tub along with the bell(s). By rolling the jingle bells back and forth, your tree will get painted while also providing a textured appearance.
Once the tree is painted, students can use other paint colors to add lights or ornaments to their Christmas tree. Complete the activity by gluing your tree template to a background (we suggest black as it makes the tree pop) and then add a tree stump and star to finish off the design. This is an engaging fine motor painting art project for kids. Materials needed: paper, paint, plastic tub, bell(s), tape, and glue.
