Pick 3 or 5 different-sized leaves and use a sharpie to trace around each one on your piece of paper (adults or older kids will definitely need to help with this step. In fact, I suggest having this part done before the craft has begun if you\u2019re doing this in a classroom setting). Cut each one out as close to the lines as possible. Next, put baby oil in each space of a painter’s palette. Add a few drops of paint into each pool of baby oil and use a pipette to stir and then suck the liquid up. Fill your pan about halfway with water and then pipe in all of the different baby oil\/paint color combinations into the water. Dip each of your leaf cut-outs into the liquid mixture and set them outside to dry. Notice that no two leaves will come out exactly the same!
