  Salt Dough Handprint Santa
  Let\u2019s make an adorable and easy homemade Christmas ornament using your child\u2019s hand! Start by making salt dough. To do this combine flour, salt, and water until a clay-like consistency. Roll out the dough and press your child\u2019s handprint into it. Using a small utility knife, cut around the handprint. Bake your dough in the oven at 100 degrees for a few hours (until dried out) then remove to cool. <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

  Next, paint the top of the Santa red. This is his hat. The fingers will be white for his beard. Once painted add eyes, a nose, and a mouth. Once completely dry, students can add any extras they would like \u2013 details to his hat, googly eyes, a pom-pom nose, etc.. Add a ribbon and hang this adorable craft on your tree this holiday season!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
