This craft can be used in multiple ways, whether you get a picture of your student to tape in the middle or draw a picture to accompany a St. Patrick\u2019s story.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Shamrock art can be used multiple times and can be customized for each student\u2026 how lucky!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You need:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf A piece of cardstock or paper to paint on\u25cf A cut out of a shamrock or clover\u25cf Paint (any color!)\u25cf Mesh (think of what a nag of oranges is made of, or the back part of a sponge)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To make:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Lay the cut out of the shamrock onto your cardstock. (Some people find it helpful to put a small piece of tape on the back of the shamrock to secure it to the cardstock to keep it from slipping.)\u25cf Squirt a small amount of paint onto a plate or a paint pallet next to your paper. \u25cf Take the mesh you have and cut it into smaller, more manageable pieces, then crumble it into small pieces.\u25cf Have students dab the mesh into the paint, and encourage them to highlight the outlines of their shamrock, so it is obvious what is being outlined on the page.  When you lift the shamrock from the middle of the page, your student should have a perfectly outlined image of a clover. This is an easy activity for students of all ages to do during St. Patrick\u2019s Day.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
